Refund & Return Policy (EU & Netherlands Compliant)

Thank you for shopping at Beautbydee. We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. This policy outlines your rights and obligations under EU Consumer Law and Dutch regulations (Consumentenrecht).


1. Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

As an EU customer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, please notify us in writing via:

Your message must clearly state that you want to return or cancel your order.


2. Return Window & Conditions

  • After notifying us, you have 14 additional days to return the item.
  • Items must be returned in their original condition, unused, unwashed, and with all tags and packaging intact.
  • You are responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling the product beyond what is necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, and functioning.

3. Items NOT Eligible for Return

Under EU law, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Custom-made or personalised products
  • Digital products once downloaded or accessed
  • Beauty, skincare, wellness, or cosmetic items if the seal/packaging is opened
  • Intimate items (earrings, hygiene products, etc.) for safety and hygiene reasons
  • Perishable goods

If an item is not eligible for return, it will be clearly stated on the product page.


4. Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless:

  • We sent the wrong item, or
  • The item arrived damaged or faulty

If your product is defective, Beautbydee will cover the return shipping fee or issue a prepaid return label.


5. Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your returned item:

  • Refunds are issued within 14 days
  • Refunds will be credited to your original payment method
  • Shipping fees paid at checkout are non-refundable, except if the entire order is cancelled under the 14-day withdrawal before the item has shipped

6. Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos/videos of the issue

We will replace the item or issue a full refund, including shipping costs.


7. Exchanges

We accept exchanges only if:

  • The item is in original condition, and
  • The requested size, design, or colour is available

If the replacement is not available, a refund will be issued instead.


8. How to Return an Item

Please send an email to sales@beautbydee.nl and Include the following:

  • Your order number
  • Your full name
  • Reason for return

You will receive detailed instructions within 5 business days on how to proceed with returns.


9. Refund Exceptions

We reserve the right to refuse:

  • Returns sent after the 14-day return window
  • Items returned used, worn, washed, or damaged
  • Items missing tags, packaging, or accessories
  • Returns without order information included in the parcel
  • 5% restocking fee
